Future me...or old me?

Is this future me,or old me?
Here's some pro with same name as ME,KHE SIN

Prof. Boris Khesin

Born: 1932, Baku, Azerbaijan

Research interests:

Integrated geophysics, mineral prospecting, studies of long-term seismic activity, hidden target revealing by geophysical methods (hydrogeological, engineering-geological, environmental, archaeological and military studies), information-statistical techniques, potential fields, mountainous and temperate/tropical-latitude regions.

Top of List

General information:

Khesin Boris graduated M.Sc. with honors (Mining Engineer-Geophysicist Diploma of Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute, 1954), Ph.D. (Baku, 1965), D.Sc. (Moscow, 1982), and Full Professor. From 1991 he works as professor at the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev). Prof. Khesin is expert of INTAS program. He performed integrated geophysical prospecting of oil and gas, fresh and thermal waters, ore and non-metallic deposits, geophysical studies of environmental, archeological and other targets in Caucasus, Siberia, Kazakhstan and Israel. Prof. Khesin developed geophysical survey methodology for mountainous regions and (with participation of his Ph.D. students) interpretation system for complicated environments: uneven topography, inclined magnetization (usual for wide zone of temperate and tropical latitudes), and heterogeneous media. This system includes original information-statistical techniques for hidden (deep and shallow) targets revealing and long-term seismicity zoning. Prof. Khesin has 252 scientific works, including 10 books. 1 Book, 32 articles and 45 abstracts for Israeli and International Conferences were published during the last sixteen years. Part of them was devoted to energy and water provision and seismic security of Israel. Leading professional journals of the USSR and USA published benevolent reviews to Khesin’s main books. He is Active Member of international Society of Exploration Geophysicists and Presidium Member of Israeli Association of Scientists-Newcomers.
